Spaces of Resilience in Youth Transitions
How can young people in phases of transition and orientation be supported in developing confidence, independence, and new perspectives?
This professional exchange brings together educators, youth workers, and mentors from volunteering and orientation programmes who work with young adults in transitional phases. Together, they explore approaches and methods for designing learning and living environments as Spaces of Resilience—places that foster self-efficacy, build community, and support sustainable personal development.
Youth Exchanges in Montpellier and Heidelberg
Montpellier, 03.-10.06.2026 + Heidelberg, 05.-09.08.2026
This youth exchange brings together participants from various European countries. The focus is on urban resilience, democracy, and climate - topics that are tangible in many local initiatives in Montpellier. Participants work in international teams, share experiences, and develop ideas for how cities can become more sustainable and just.
At the Collegium Academicum Heidelberg—a self-organised residential and educational project—young people from several countries will create a five-day work camp. The target group is participants aged 18–27 who enjoy hands-on collaboration, project creation, and storytelling for sustainability. Together, they build a vibrant learning environment where urban transformation is not only discussed but lived.
We are still open for partners in other European countries, more information you can find here.
